Yogurt with Honey, Banana, and Walnuts

A simple and delicious yogurt parfait layered with sweet honey, ripe banana, and crunchy walnuts. Perfect for a quick breakfast or a healthy dessert.

Ingredients

  • 250 g Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons liquid honey
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 30 g walnuts, roughly chopped
  • a pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  • Put 250 g of Greek yogurt into a medium-sized bowl.
  • Stir the yogurt briefly to make it smooth.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of liquid honey to the yogurt.
  • Mix everything well until the honey is evenly distributed.
  • Slice a ripe banana into thin slices.
  • Gently add the banana slices to the yogurt mixture.
  • Roughly chop 30 g of walnuts.
  • Roast the walnuts briefly over medium heat without oil for 3-4 minutes, if desired.
  • Add the chopped walnuts to the mixture.
  • Gently stir everything together so as not to mash the bananas.
  • Place the finished mixture into a nice bowl or onto a plate.
  • If desired, add another pinch of cinnamon on top and enjoy.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Store yogurt in the refrigerator.
  • Reheating is not necessary, enjoy cold.
