  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  • Add some salt and add the pasta.
  • Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente.
  • Drain the pasta and let it steam briefly.
  • Bring water to a boil in a separate pot.
  • Add the broccoli and blanch for about 3-4 minutes until bright green.
  • Drain and immediately plunge into ice water to preserve the color.
  • Heat some olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken bacon and fry until crispy.
  • Watch the bacon carefully so it doesn’t burn!
  • Add the chopped garlic once the bacon is nicely crispy.
  • Sauté the garlic briefly (about 1 minute) until fragrant.
  • Pour the cream or plant-based cream into the pan and let everything simmer gently.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese (or plant-based cheese) and season with pepper and salt to taste.
  • Add the drained pasta and the blanched broccoli to the sauce.
  • Fold everything together well so that each noodle is coated in the creamy sauce.
